As I've been having a... rather hard time at college, my mother and I went to a counselor last Thursday. She was really nice, and funny, and was really understanding that I have trouble speaking with strangers and being the focus of attention. By the end of the session she said that I was probably misdiagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder, since my symptoms point more towards social anxiety rather than general anxiety. She also said that, although she doesn't have the authority to actually diagnose me, I most likely have Depression.
Soooo, I've got to go to a psychiatrist soon to take a psych evaluation. :\ I'm not sure how I feel about this.
Ah, no, never mind, I do know how I feel. I don't particularly care. But that's because I don't care much about anything lately, so.
Hopefully we can get this sorted out quickly. I'm so tired of all this bullshit.
But anyway!
After my appointment I went to give blood at my school. It was my first time donating so I was a little nervous, but it all went really smoothly. :D It hurt a bit when they stuck me, but not as much as I thought it would hurt. It was more uncomfortable when the nurse was messing with the tubes because it tugged on the needle and I could feel it moving around inside my arm.
And apparently I bleed a lot, because I was done within a few minutes, and they were all pretty surprised. I stopped bleeding in a normal amount of time, though, so I suppose it's nothing to worry about.
I was a bit lightheaded and sore for the rest of the day, but it wasn't anything big. And I felt really good about myself, so. :D I can't donate again until mid-November, but I'll totally do it again when I get the chance. My blood type is O+, so I feel like I sort of have to, heh.
On the topic of blood, I scraped up my left leg pretty badly. On the way to class my ankle decided to give out and I fell on the sidewalk. I'm sure it was quite a sight, as I very obviously did not trip. Everyone just sort of :| at me and went on their way, though, which I find strangely amusing. My knee still really hurts, but it's healing, and the little scrapes on my leg aren't really noticeable or painful at all.
OH OH OH. And I'm nearly finished with my Russia app! At the pace I'm going I think I might actually finish tonight. :D :D :D Of course, I'll worry and pick at it for ages, but that's beside the point.
Speaking of; friends who are Hetalia fans! Would any of you mind reading over my application once I'm done? I'd like to know if I got Russia's voice down, or if there's anything you think I should change or add.
And actually, I suppose non-Hetalia fans would be fine, too, for a more generalized beta-ing.
I GET VERY NERVOUS ABOUT RP-ING, I WANT TO BE CONFIDENT WHEN I DECIDE TO POST TO H_H

Which is sort of odd since I'm at my most stressed right now, and with college and Work & Learn I'll be sort of busy. But... I dunno, it just feels right. And I think I'm really going to go through with it, which gives me a nervous belly and makes me super excited at the same time. And I swear to god if someone apps as Russia before me I will murder everyone

I found it through V-channie, I believe. I idolized her like crazy, and when I found out that she was big into LJ, I thought that getting one myself would be a good idea. And here we are. THIS IS FASCINATING STUFF, FOLKS.
OH LOL. OnesWhoUseYou is a year old today. Hilarious.
OH OH OH OH. PRESENTS. I MUST TELL YOU ABOUT MY BIRTHDAY PRESENTS. Quick birthday summary first.
Mom and I went to Bob Evans for breakfast, and got my outfit for my cousin's wedding. Afterwords I came home, relaxed a bit, and took a nap. When I woke up I went to the RecPlex with Tralia, Jacqui, her boyfriend, and her boyfriend's friend. We went swimming and it was great. :D Tralia can't swim at all (she can't even float), and I took advantage of the fact that it was the only time I could ever physically overpower her. She was thrown about like a rag doll, it was hilarious. We went out separate ways then, and Tralia and I went back to my house for a little bit. My mom then took us to Olive Garden where we had delicious foods, and we came back so I could open presents, and then we went to bed. :D It was a really good day.
I got volumes 1-3 of Slayers Super Explosive Demon Story (lol at that name), which I've already read and love to pieces. I also got Same Sex In The City: So Your Prince Charming Is Really A Cinderella (that title made Tralia laugh really hard), Muppet Treasure Island, Repo! The Genetic Opera (YES), Pokemon Platinum (when I figure out how to get my code I'll post it here), Guitar Hero for the DS, and three Pikmin plush dolls. <333 I got a Red Flower, a Blue Bud, and a Yellow Leaf. OH GOD THEY MAKE ME SO HAPPY, YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. I'm carrying around my Yellow Leaf today. No one except Dylan knows what it is, but that doesn't stop me from going PIKPIKPIKPIKPIK whenever anyone notices it. "Hey that's cute what is it" "PIKPIKPIKPIKPIKPIKPIKPIK".
Oh, and I ordered the first season of Slayers with my birthday money. I should get it in a few days. YEAH, I'VE ALREADY SEEN SEASONS NEXT THROUGH EVOLUTION-R, I SHOULD PROBABLY SEE SEASON ONE SOON. Way to fail, self.
Mmmm, I'm very tired. And thirsty. I think I'll get a tea at lunch. And I work at... four-something, I should be able to squeeze a nap in there. |

eeeeeeee Brian Katcher came to talk to my creative writing class today. :D For those of you who don't know who that is, he wrote the book Playing With Matches, which got a pretty high award. And he actually graduated from my high school, and wrote the book about this school. :D :D :D
He was really funny, and answered all of our questions honestly. I really enjoyed listening to him. I volunteered to walk him to the library after class, and I thanked him for speaking to us and told him I enjoyed his book. I asked him for his autograph (because I'm a nerd), and he signed a free copy of his book and told me he really enjoyed my questions. Eeeeeeeeee.
I'll treasure it forever. <333

Mmmmmm. That's a hard question, and I'm sure people are going to fight over this. :\ I'd have to say men, though. For the majority of history men have been favored as the superior sex, and they don't bleed out of the snatch once a month. Mm... masturbating isn't as ridiculous as it is for women, and don't try to tell me that it's not. Though that may just be my intense disgust with vaginas talking for me, I dunno. What a lousy lesbian I am. Heh, alliteration. There's also childbirth, but you don't HAVE to go through that, so I guess it doesn't count. They can pee without shoving their pants and underwear to their ankles, too.
That's not to say that men don't have it hard in some aspects, of course. It's less socially acceptable for them to show their emotions, and they're expected to be the provider of the family and shit. There are a lot of expectations for men that are totally unfair, and the same goes for women.
I don't particularly like this question. I don't like the "OH MAN GUYS HAVE IT SO MUCH EASIER WOMEN SUFFER SO MUCH IT'S NOT FAIR PENIS ENVY BAAAAWWWWWWWW" mindset. Or vice versa, I guess, though I haven't seen much of that.

Oh, FUCK YOU, school computer. It's not letting me log into anything anymore!
Well, not ANYTHING, I guess. I can still log into Pandora, but I can't log into LJ, Tegaki E, or Jango, and facebookproxy.name won't work anymore. I haven't been able to log into Deviantart, Facebook, or Myspace (the last two because they're blocked) ever since the school started using that fucking Lightspeed Systems program. FUCK YOU LIGHTSPEED, I HATE YOU SO MUCH. SO MUCH.
I don't even know if this will post at all. Fuck.
Innnn other news, today is the Day of Silence, and I'm participating. C: Not talking isn't bothering me much, but the smell of my dry-erase marker is starting to hurt my head and make me feel funny. I'll try to use it sparingly.
Today is ALLLSSSO my mother's birthday! <333 I'm going to talk to her, of course, and my sister and her boyfriend when they get in town, because I don't have anything to prove to them. I'll try to not talk when we go out, but I haven't seen Meagan or Chuck in a while and I'll feel bad sitting there at my mom's birthday dinner all silent and stuff. >: She's pretty understanding, though, and says that she'll understand if I don't talk tonight.
